Pastor Randy was born and raised on a farm/ranch in Alberta, Canada. He reflects the saying “you can take the boy off the farm but you can’t take the farm out of the boy” in that he has a love for small towns and rural people. Randy spent several years farming before he realized God was calling him into the ministry. After earning his pastoral degree at Canadian Bible College in 1989, he began ministry as a youth pastor at Fort McMurray Alliance Church. Since then Randy has served as an associate pastor in Linden, Alberta, then as a solo pastor in Townsend, MT. He completed a master’s degree in Ministry and Leadership this year and has been serving as senior pastor at Plains Alliance Church along with his wife, Sharon, since October of 2009. Together, they have a son, three daughters and two sons-in-law.
