The current Bible study is a Beth Moore Bible study - "A Woman's Heart - God's Dwelling Place". There are five daily lessons in each section which is divided into two week periods, along with a video. The Beth Moore study will encourage and challenge you to apply practical Bible truths with life-changing results. This study is taken primarily from the Old Testament book of Exodus. It takes you on a journey into why God would choose to live in a wilderness tabernacle made by human hands and explores the parallels between the physical tabernacle and the tabernacle of the human heart. Through this in-depth study of the Old Testament tabernacle, explore the fascinating account of the building of the tabernacle, the significance of its intricate design, its pivotal role in God's eternal plan, and its variety of meanings for women today.
The ten goals for this
study are:
1. To encounter God's perfection against the backdrop of our poverty
of spirit.
2. To arrive ultimately at the same place or destination even if we
have traveled at different paces; the Holy of Holies. (John 20:1-6)
3. To encounter and acknowledge the reliability of God's word. And
important principle for this study and all Bible -based studies: "A lack
of faith does not affect God's facts - God's facts
affect our lack of faith". (John 20:9)
4. To develop further an honest relationship with God. (John
20:10-11)
5. To gaze at the details of the tabernacle and discover Christ.
(John 20:14)
6. To develop a fresh appreciation for what it means to be called by
name. (John 20:15-16)
7. To substantially increase our knowledge of scripture through the
great Teacher, Jesus Christ. (John 20:16)
8. To develop a deeper relationship with God as Father. (John 20:17)
9. To have our focus changed from ourselves to our Savior. (John
20:18)
10. To become living proof that Jesus lives (John 20:18)
