Pastor Randy was born and raised on a farm/ranch in Alberta, Canada. He reflects the saying "you can take the boy off the farm but you can't take the farm out of the boy" in that he has a love for small towns and rural people. Randy spent several years farming before he realized God was calling him into the ministry. After earning his pastoral degree at Canadian Bible College in 1989, he began ministry as a youth pastor at Fort McMurray Alliance Church. Since then Randy has served as an associate pastor in Linden, Alberta, then as a solo pastor in Townsend, MT. He completed a master's degree in Ministry and Leadership at Ambrose University College in Calgary, Alberta in 2009 and has been serving as senior pastor of Plains Alliance Church since then. Together with his wife, Sharon, they have four children, three of whom are married with eight children among them. Randy and Sharon are enjoying this stage of life as grandparents.
