Randy Neilson, Senior Pastor

Pastor Randy was born and raised on a farm/ranch in Alberta, Canada. He reflects the saying "you can take the boy off the farm but you can't take the farm out of the boy" in that he has a love for small towns and rural people. Randy spent several years farming before he realized God was calling him into the ministry. After earning his pastoral degree at Canadian Bible College in 1989, he began ministry as a youth pastor at Fort McMurray Alliance Church. Since then Randy has served as an associate pastor in Linden, Alberta, then as a solo pastor in Townsend, MT. He completed a master's degree in Ministry and Leadership at Ambrose University College in Calgary, Alberta in 2009 and has been serving as senior pastor of Plains Alliance Church since then. Together with his wife Sharon, they have four children, three of whom are married, with eight children among them. Randy and Sharon are enjoying this stage of life as grandparents.
Ashley Jelich, Administrative Assistant

Ashley was born in Wisconsin, adopted as a baby, and raised in Waukesha, WI. Her family came to Christ when she was about 10 years old, from which time she began pursuing the Savior. She has always had a heart for church ministry and a desire to serve others. She graduated from Emmaus Bible College in 2014 (Dubuque, IA), majoring in Biblical Studies and Counseling, with a Minor in Youth Ministry. After graduation, she moved to Northwestern Montana, and worked for one year at a Behavioral Girls Ranch in Rexford. After the ranch, God planted a deep love in her heart for the people and town of Plains. She began attending and serving at the Plains Alliance Church, while working different jobs in the medical field in the community. Fall 2017 she moved back to WI to help with her family, but God brought her back to plant roots in Plains in March 2019. She serves as Office Administrative Assistant at the Alliance, and spends her time serving in different ministries of the church, teaching piano lessons, hanging out with students, serving in the community, supporting student sports, and enjoying God's creation.
