Melissa Bishop, Administrative Assistant

Melissa has lived in Plains since 2019, when God provided an opportunity for her husband, Matt, to work at Clark Fork Valley Hospital.  Previously they lived in St. Maries, ID, for 20 years where she enjoyed working closely with the staff of their church, serving in both children and adult ministries.  Now that their youngest daughter is nearly independent, she’s excited to join our team here at Plains CMA Church. Melissa will share the position of Administrative Assistant with Anne Siebert.

Since giving her life to Christ as a young adult, Melissa has carried a deep love for studying Scripture, claiming Psalm 86:11 for inspiration, “Teach me your way O Lord, and I will walk in your truth." She truly enjoys exploring God's Word with others, as well as exploring God's creation in the wilderness and in her own backyard with Matt, tending to flowers, berries, and vegetables. They also enjoy hiking, hunting, traveling together, and spending time with their 3 kids and 3 grandchildren as much as possible. She's grateful for the opportunity to be useful in the building of the Kingdom of God by supporting our church family in ministering to the needs of the community and pointing others to Christ.
